Spinach Artichoke Bread

I came across this recipe and instantly knew I had to try it out...and it was so so yummy.  Alston said that this definitely needs to be made again.  I think I may even try pouring it over a big bread bowl.

Ingredients:
1loaf of French bread sliced in half
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 cup of Italian mix shredded cheese
1 can of small artichoke hearts ( I cut each heart into 4 pieces)
1 package of frozen spinach (thawed and drained)

Preheat oven to 350

Over a cookie sheet in foil

Mix all the above ingredients together.  I made sure the spinach got nice and mixed in so there was no big chunks of spinach.  I then put the mixture in the fridge for about 15 minutes to it thickened up.

I only used 1 half of the French bread loaf since it was only us 4.  So this mixture made a wonderful thick layer over the bread.  Before I put the mixture down, I sprinkled a fine sprinkle of Tonys (a staple in my kitchen lol) over the bread....it adds just a little extra something to it.  If you don't have Tonys it's not a deal breaker.  Than load up that yumminess all over the bread.

Finish with your Italian mix of cheese.  Bake for 10 minutes at 350.  Turn your oven to broil and WATCH IT CLOSELY you only want the top to get a little golden.

Hurry and cut that bad boy up!!  It's so good when its warm and gooey.  Alston and Olivia said it was still fabulous after it had sat out for awhile.

I hope y'all enjoy this one as much as we did!
